At Vulcan Trees & Landscapes, we're proud to have Candlelighters as our company's chosen charity. We are proud to be running our Christmas Tree Collection with 100% of donations going directly to Candlelighters, our company's chosen charity.
Rather than taking your real Christmas tree to the tip, let us collect and recycle it for you. In return for a minimum donation of £5 per tree, we'll ensure your tree is responsibly recycled, with every penny raised helping families facing childhood cancer.
Collections will take place between 5th and 9th January. Simply complete the booking form on our website, and we'll confirm your collection day along with a secure payment link. On your allocated day, just leave your tree outside your property and we'll take care of the rest.
Why We Support Candlelighters
Our support for Candlelighters is deeply personal.
Three years ago, our youngest son, Bruce, was diagnosed with cancer. It was a time that changed our family's lives forever, bringing challenges we could never have imagined.
Throughout Bruce's treatment, Candlelighters was there for us. They provided practical support, emotional guidance and reassurance when we needed it most, helping our whole family through one of the most difficult periods of our lives.
Running our Christmas Tree Collection is our way of saying thank you. Every tree collected helps us give something back to the charity that gave so much to us, while supporting other families who are beginning or continuing their own journey.

About Candlelighters
Candlelighters is a Yorkshire charity dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families from the moment of diagnosis and beyond.
The charity provides emotional, practical and financial support, helping families cope with the many challenges that childhood cancer brings.
Their services include family support workers, counselling, play therapy, wellbeing activities, hospital support, financial assistance and opportunities for families to spend valuable time together away from hospital appointments.
By funding vital services and investing in childhood cancer research, Candlelighters helps ensure that no family has to face childhood cancer alone.
Every donation made through our Christmas Tree Collection helps Candlelighters continue this life-changing work and provide hope, comfort and support to families across Yorkshire.
