Projects
Here’s a sample of some of our recent projects. Inspired by what you see? It’s only the beginning!
Commercial Landscaping
Landscaping work at a commercial development housing Taco Bell and KFC.
Full preparation and installation of landscaped areas across the site. Soiling-up and ground preparation to establish suitable levels and growing conditions. Planting of a range of trees and shrubs to soften the development and enhance visual appearance.
Planted areas finished with bark mulch to retain moisture, suppress weed growth, and provide a clean, uniform finish appropriate for a high-profile commercial site.
Turfing and finishing touches to ensure the landscaping is fully established and presentation-ready.
Tree Removal
Remove a large spruce tree following an assessment that identified structural concerns.
Located within a conservation area. The necessary permissions were obtained prior to the works.
The tree was removed in a controlled manner and were carried out efficiently in line with approved consent.
Rather than full stump removal, the remaining stump was retained and finished to allow it to be repurposed as a table, providing a sustainable and practical reuse of the timber.
Site Clearance
Felling and clearance of sixteen large white poplar trees as part of a planned site clearance operation.
The size and volume of the trees required careful planning to ensure the works were carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
A range of tree surgery equipment and heavy machinery was utilised to fell, process, and remove the timber from site. The works were coordinated to maintain safe working areas and allow efficient handling of large volumes of material.
All arisings were cleared from site, with timber and brash responsibly processed and sent for biomass, ensuring environmentally responsible disposal.
Tree Pruning
Leopold Square, Sheffield, carefully trimming and shaping these beech trees
We got the work done before the city woke up – keeping the square looking smart and welcoming while making sure businesses and visitors weren’t disrupted.
Coordinated Site Clearance
Site clearance works within an active healthcare environment at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Removal of all trees, shrubs, and stumps to allow the area to be safely prepared for future development. The works were carried out within a high-traffic area, requiring careful planning and coordination.
The team worked closely alongside other contractors operating on site to ensure activities were properly coordinated, access routes were maintained, and disruption to hospital operations, staff, and visitors was kept to an absolute minimum.
All works were completed in line with site-specific requirements, with a strong focus on safety, communication, and efficiency.
Sensory Park Design & Install
Sensory area at Barnsley Road Playing Fields.
Multiple phase project to allow landscaping works to settle and grassed areas to establish before final installation.
Area was carefully landscaped to create new ground levels and shape the area in preparation for the sensory features. The following elements were installed as part of the groundwork and initial construction stage:
Installation of tyres as interactive features, Installation of a bench for seating, Construction of a sleeper wall, Installation of concrete pads ready for future features
The project has been planned to allow time for grass growth and ground consolidation before proceeding with the next stage. This approach ensures long-term durability and a high-quality finished space.
Complex Tree Removal in a Restricted Environment
Two large sycamore trees were carefully removed from a constrained site where buildings were located directly beneath the canopy and the available drop zone was extremely limited.
Due to the restricted environment, the works required a controlled dismantling approach. Each section and branch was individually cut and rigged down in a controlled manner to prevent damage to surrounding structures and surfaces.
Planned and executed with close attention to safety, precision, and site protection, ensuring the works were completed efficiently while maintaining full control throughout.
Emergency Removal
Emergency removal of a mature beech tree that had been blown over during strong winds.
The fallen tree had pierced the roof of the property and was resting on the structure, presenting an immediate risk to the building and occupants. Urgent action was required to safely remove the tree while preventing further damage.
The tree was carefully dismantled and removed using controlled methods to ensure the safety of the property and surrounding area. Close coordination was maintained with a roofing contractor to allow temporary repairs to be completed promptly.
Large-Scale Planting & Seeding Work
Large planting and seeding project over several weeks on the Isle of Sheppey, supporting landscaping and environmental enhancement works around a renewable energy facility.
The project involved extensive planting on the bunds surrounding an anaerobic digestion (AD) plant. A wide variety of tree species were planted to improve visual screening, biodiversity, and long-term site integration.
Whips installed with canes and rabbit guards to ensure protection during establishment and promote healthy growth. Designated areas were seeded with a slow-growing grass mix, selected to provide effective ground cover while minimising long-term maintenance requirements.
